The Transformers project, which is active in Lisbon, Porto and Coimbra, is a volunteer program that links up mentors with institutionalized young people. Given the lack of young people involved in civic, political, social and voluntary activities, it is intended to support them to develop their innovative capacity (their own, positive way of making a difference), through an informal volunteer program with mentors in the arts, sports and hip-hop, transforming young people into transformers so that they also become tools of positive inclusion, positively changing their communities.
