The Museum of Art, Architecture & Technology’s educational service is a space for knowledge, dialogue and experimentation, inviting the visitor to actively participate in artistic and technological disciplines.
In order to bring visitors closer and enrich their experience at the museum, the MAAT develops programs – dialogue-visits, game-visits, workshops, meetings with artists and educational residencies – that focus on the development of individual expression, creative skills, as well as different ways of obtaining and building knowledge.
The programs developed are suited to various age groups – starting at the age of 4 – as well as the different audiences that visit the Museum – from the general public to more specialised segments.
MAAT also organizes programs with teaching institutions, which develop personalised arts education projects that take place during the school year and have an inter-institutional and transdisciplinary spirit.
With a focus on science, the Education Service develops specific programs for the school public that address the curricular contents of various teaching levels, from preschool to university. This relationship with the school community also includes the joint development and implementation of scientific projects that are in line with the curricular plan and the museum’s subject matter.
