APQhome - MAAT is a total work of art that requires the participant’s immersive intervention in a 48-hour period, which aims to perform everyday life, in a total fusion experience between art and life.
The art installation ApQhome – MAAT is a project encompassing a domestic space – a house and its objects – and a garden, inside exhibition space. Unexpectedly, the participants will have the opportunity to spend two nights at the museum, occupying this domestic space in a program taking place between May 17th and July 30th, 2017.
This new work by Ana Pérez-Quiroga is part of An Archive of Daily Life #8 – The accumulative regimes of objects and their determinants, an ongoing project started in 2012. Applications for inhabiting this new work by the artist are open to artists and other contemporary creators, between March 8th and June 8th, 2017, via MAAT’s website or directly on the project’s webpage http://www.anaperezquirogahome.com.
