Vasco Futscher Pereira was born in 1987 in Lisbon. He completed his studies in Painting at Ar.Co (2005-2008) while studying Management at the Universidade Nova de Lisboa. Also at Ar.Co, he completes the Advanced Course in Visual Arts in 2010 and the Ceramics course in 2013. He was the recipient of the Fundação Carmona e Costa scholarship in 2008-2009. Some of the group shows he has participated in include: À Maneira do Ar.Co, Galeria João Esteves de Oliveira, 2012; Assembleia, 2013 and, with the EST SECUM collective, O Caminho Estreito para o Sul Profundo, both shows at the Espaço AZ. His solo exhibitions were: Works on Paper, Joburg Art Gallery, Johannesburg, 2012, and Cerâmicas, Módulo – Centro Difusor de Arte, Lisboa, 2014.
He currently lives and works in Lisbon.
